This page is the privacy policy and data-protection notice for NodietXP. It explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It applies if you visit nodietxp.com, write to us, opt in to news or updates, or work with us as a coaching client.

1. Who we are

NodietXP is a personalized lifestyle-coaching practice. We help adults with weight loss without dieting, families with childhood weight loss, people rebuilding life after dieting, and people who want realistic longevity. Coaching is delivered online.

The data controller (the person responsible for your personal data) is:

Balázs Tóth, operating as NodietXP
Website: https://nodietxp.com
Email: [email protected]

We are based in Hungary. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Hungarian Information Act (Act CXII of 2011, Infotv.) apply.

This website is not a medical service. Coaching is not a diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a doctor or other licensed clinician.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers:

  • browsing this website, including Home, Weight loss, Childhood weight loss, Life after dieting, Realistic longevity, Blaize’s longevity gameplan, Blog, and Contact
  • messages you send through our contact form or email
  • your email address, if you opt in to receive news or updates
  • information you share if you start coaching with us

3. What data we collect

We only collect what we need to run the site, reply to you, send news or updates you asked for, and — if you ask us to — provide coaching.

When you visit the website

  • technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, date and time, and pages viewed (server logs, used to keep the site working and secure)
  • cookies that are necessary for the website to function
  • if a page includes a YouTube video, YouTube / Google may collect data and set cookies under their own policy

You do not need an account to read the site or send a first message.

When you write to us

Through the contact form or email we may receive:

  • your name and email address
  • the topic you want help with
  • your message, including anything you tell us about your goals, what you have already tried, your eating or family situation, or a child you care for

Contact-form messages are stored on our website so we can reply. We read them personally. Right now, email is the only way to contact us. Writing to us does not sign you up for news or updates.

When you opt in for news or updates

If you choose to receive news or updates from NodietXP, we collect the email address you give us, and only that, for this purpose. We send emails only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in an email or by writing to [email protected].

We do not use an opt-in email address to send coaching notes or health-related details. Those stay in the enquiry or coaching relationship, if you have one.

When you become a coaching client

We may also process:

  • scheduling details and session notes
  • information you choose to share about eating, weight, stress, family meals, health markers, or longevity goals
  • invoices and payment records (for example your name, billing details, and amounts paid)

Children and families

On childhood-weight-loss pages, a parent or guardian normally contacts us. If you share information about a child, we treat it as part of your enquiry or coaching relationship. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 16, and we do not create accounts for children. We do not send news or updates to children.

4. Health-related information

If you tell us about weight, eating habits, emotional eating, health markers, or a child’s eating, that can be health-related data. Under the GDPR this is a special category of personal data.

We only process it because you chose to send it, and only to understand your question, reply, and provide coaching if we agree to work together. We do not use this information for advertising. We do not sell it.

5. Why we use your data

We use personal data for these purposes, on these legal bases:

  • To reply to enquiries you send us — your consent, and/or taking steps at your request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b)).
  • To send news or updates you opted into — your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
  • To provide coaching you have asked for — performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To process health-related details you volunteer — your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), and where relevant the coaching contract.
  • To issue invoices and keep accounting records — legal obligation under Hungarian tax and accounting rules (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep the website secure and working — legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): running a secure site.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, or by unsubscribing from news and updates. Withdrawal does not affect replies or coaching we already provided, or records we must keep by law.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We do not publish client stories or identifying details unless you have clearly agreed.

We may use trusted providers who help us run the service:

  • website hosting and backup providers, to run and restore the site
  • our email system, including to send news or updates you opted into
  • YouTube / Google, if you play an embedded video
  • a video-call provider, for coaching sessions
  • a bank or payment provider, if you pay by transfer or card

These providers have their own terms and privacy policies. Some process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, they typically rely on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

We may disclose data if the law requires it, for example a court order.

7. Cookies and embedded content

We use cookies that are necessary for the website to function (for example to keep a page session stable). We do not currently run a separate advertising or analytics tracking pixel on this site.

Some pages embed videos from YouTube. That content behaves as if you visited YouTube. YouTube may set cookies and collect data about you, including if you are logged into a Google account. See Google’s privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block all cookies, some parts of the site may not work.

8. How long we keep data

  • Website server logs — only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Contact-form and email enquiries — up to 2 years after our last message, unless you become a client or ask us to delete sooner.
  • News and updates — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email, then we remove you from the list.
  • Coaching notes — while we work together, and then for up to 5 years, unless a longer period is required or you ask us to delete what the law allows us to delete.
  • Invoices and accounting records — 8 years, as required by Hungarian accounting law.

When we no longer need data, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • correct inaccurate data
  • delete data (where the law allows)
  • restrict or object to certain processing
  • receive a copy of data you provided, in a portable format
  • withdraw consent, including your opt-in for news or updates

Email [email protected]. We will respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.

These rights are not unlimited. For example, we may keep invoices even if you ask us to erase other data.

You also have the right to complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority:

Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH)
1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11, Hungary
Website: https://www.naih.hu
Email: [email protected]

If you live in another EU or EEA country, you may complain to your local data-protection authority instead.

10. How we protect data

The website uses HTTPS. Access to messages, form submissions, and coaching notes is limited to people who need it to reply or to provide coaching. We keep backups so we can restore the site if something fails.

No online service is perfectly secure. Please do not send information you would not want stored in email or a web form.

11. Automated decisions

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

12. Changes

If we change how we use personal data in a material way, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. The current version is always the one published at https://nodietxp.com/privacy-policy/.
